Shevarita puddle
Ševarita Lokva is a shallow, periodic lake that forms during the spring months, while it mostly dries up during the summer. It is located in the southern part of the Jezerska plateau, at an altitude of 1420 meters, in the immediate vicinity of the border of the municipalities of Šavnik and Žabljak, near the settlement of Banske kuće.
The name of the lake comes from the word "ševar", which means the reed with which the lake is overgrown, and "puddle" - shallow water that disappears in the warmer months. The maximum depth of the Shevarita puddle is about one meter. In appearance and characteristics, this puddle is similar to the surrounding lakes The devil and Fish lake, and nearby is also A dry puddle, which is also a shallow and periodically watery area.
Ševarita lokva is an ideal place for lovers of nature and hiking, and its specificity contributes to the unique diversity of the landscape of the Lake Plateau.
