Training of local birdwatching guides on Durmitor

The tourist organization of the Municipality of Žabljak, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro, continues the implementation of the project "New tourist offer in Žabljak – Training of local birdwatching guides on Durmitor".

The project aims to create a completely new tourist product - bird watching, as an offer that will be available to tourists throughout the year. The goal is to promote the Durmitor National Park, which is on the list of Internationally Important Bird Areas (IBA). The project aims to promote a significant natural resource of the area, attract a new target group of tourists and connect the local population, all with the aim of raising the quality of services and gaining new economic benefits.

We inform all interested parties that the practical training in the field will start on Friday, June 28, 2019. year.

We invite all participants to report to the offices of the Tourist Organization Žabljak on the above-mentioned date at 5 p.m. Binoculars (if you have them) and outdoor shoes are required.
