"Zabljak inspiration"
Three musical artists who have a strong connection with Žabljak will perform on the program of the fifth Wild Beauty Art International Festival.
On Macan poljana, with a unique view of Durmitor, on Friday, August 4, a female composer Ana Krstajić will present his debut self-titled album Mountain eyes. The piano arrangements of the compositions will be performed by the composer herself. Along with individual tracks from the album, video clips of choreographic miniatures performed by contemporary ballet dancers Dejan Kolarov, Staša Ivanović, Vladimir Čubril and Mila Stijak will be premiered.
The music videos for the Gorske oči album metaphorically depict the establishment of a relationship between two people, as well as the relationship between man and nature, and were filmed at several locations in Žabljak, where Ana is from. For this reason, we can say that this album and this program summarize the essence of the idea of the Wild Beauty Art festival - said the festival's PR service.
Two female artists, a violinist Milica Žugić and a harpist Branka Pajović, will perform on Friday, August 11, at one of the new festival locations, near the monument to the fallen fighters of the NOB, which is located near the center of Žabljak. Popular works of classical music will be performed at the concert, evergreen and jazz standards, as well as covering traditional songs in a version with solo violin and duo violin and harp.
Milica Žugić, originally from Žabljak, is an award-winning young violinist, who studied at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, and who, with extensive orchestral experience, became a member of the Belgrade Philharmonic in 2015. Harpist Branka Pajović, after studying, giving concerts and teaching in Serbia, the United Kingdom and Thailand, moved to Žabljak, where, in addition to music, she also makes artistic woolen handicrafts.
