Mountain Flower Days 2016
PROGRAM
* July 11 – Poetry Festival "Petrovdan Poetic Wreath"
- Awarding of the "Durmitorski vjesnik" award and Poetry Matinee: 3 pm - National Library, Center for Culture.
- Poetry meetings of poets from Montenegro and the surrounding area: 7:30 p.m. Hall SO - Žabljak.
* July 11 and 12 - Exhibition of paintings by the association "Slikarski Uranak" from Podgorica - Center for Culture (Opening of the exhibition - July 11 at 5 p.m.)
* July 12 at 11 a.m. - Exhibition of flowers (wreaths, bouquets) - Hall of the "Shopping Center".
* July 12 at 11 a.m. - Exhibition of handicrafts (carvings and knitted works) - Hall of the "Shopping Center".
* July 12 at 11 a.m. - Exhibition of dairy products - Hall of the "Shopping Center".
* July 12 at 12:00 p.m. – Scouts' trip
* July 13 at 11 a.m. - Program next to the Memorial to the Fallen Fighters of the Durmitor Region (on the occasion of 10 years of independence, 75 years of the 13th of July Uprising, 75 years of the Durmitor Republic).
* July 13 – Sports and recreational program at Njeguđa:
* Competitions in folk sports:
11:30 am – long jump.
12:15 pm – throwing a stone from the shoulder.
1 p.m. – tug-of-war competition.
*Equestrian races:
2:00 p.m. – Start of hill and mountain passes.
2:30 p.m. – Start of Arab throats.
3 p.m. – Start of race throats.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners of folk sports and horse races at the Local Office - Njeguduja at 3:30 p.m.
* July 14 – Frog film fest, opening (first screening) – Cultural Center.
* July 14 at 12 pm – Lecture on the topic: Collecting, drying and preserving medicinal plants and edible mushrooms. Lecturers: Dr. Dragica Bojović and Dr. Jelena Lazarević - Sala SO Žabljak.
* July 15 at 6 p.m. - Promotion of the book "The Path of Hippocrates": Durmitor doctors by the Durmitor Association, Belgrade - Žabljak SO hall.
* July 16, 9-11 a.m. - Morning from the cities: Žabljak - RTCG
* July 18 at 8 p.m. - Performance "The Rose of Jericho", text: Diana Meheik, Director: Mirko Radonjić - Center for Culture.
