Modro Lake

Modro Lake is located at the foot of the Durmitor peak Sedlena greda, at an altitude of 1609 meters. Its water is known for its intense deep blue color, which gave it its name. The maximum depth of Modro Lake is about 3.3 meters. This mountain lake is home to trout, while wild ducks can often be seen along its shores.

Modro Lake is part of a popular hiking trail known as the "Three Lakes" path, which includes Modro, Srablje and Valovito Lake. This trail takes about three hours and is suitable for children and people with lower fitness levels, making it an ideal choice for a light hike and enjoying nature.
