Srablje Lake

Srablje Lake is located near Modro Lake on Durmitor, at an altitude of about 1600 meters above sea level. It is one of the smallest Durmitor lakes, with a maximum depth of 1.5 meters. The lake is situated beyond a small moraine pass, and nearby is Valovito lake.

The "Three Lakes" trail includes Modro lake, Srablje and Valovito lake, and completing it takes about three hours. The route is suitable for children and people with lower fitness levels, making it an ideal choice for a gentle hiking walk.

Healing properties of the lake

According to local belief, the water of Srablje Lake has healing properties, especially for skin conditions such as itching, which is how it got its name. Locals and visitors traditionally use this water for therapeutic purposes, adding to the site's appeal.
